Data from several polls conducted by FlexJobs, a job site for flexible work, found that a staggering 97% of job seekers want a totally remote or hybrid role.
What’s more, 84% of participants believe that remote or flexible work would increase their overall happiness.
FlexJobs also found that 48% of employers are planning to maintain some form of remote work moving forward into the new year—a strategy likely designed to both attract and retain top talent.
In a post-pandemic world, employers across the nation believe that embracing workforce flexibility can cut down on unnecessary spend in turnover, as well increase worker productivity.
The advantages of a hybrid workforce are further enhanced by employee cost reductions vis-à-vis transportation expenses and office space or other location-related expenses. Additionally, studies continually cite flexible or remote work as a powerful tool for preventing burnout, generally speaking.
