This policy is designed to inform users about the types of information gathered, the purposes for its use, and the circumstances under which it may be shared.

This Privacy Policy constitutes an integral part of the entire agreement between the user and Mployer Advisor, Inc., alongside the Terms of Service. By accessing or utilizing the Services, users affirm that they have reviewed and comprehended both this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. Information We Collect

Mployer collects information to provide, maintain, and improve its Services, distinguishing between data directly provided by users, data collected automatically, and data obtained from third-party sources.

Information You Provide to Us

When users engage with the Services, certain personal information is directly submitted. This includes data provided during account registration or when claiming and managing a company or professional profile. Such information may encompass names, contact details (including email address, phone number, and physical address), company affiliation, and credentials essential for identity verification. Access to features like claiming and managing profiles is part of Mployer's paid services, necessitating a review and approval process that includes verifying the user's identity and their authority to act as an authorized agent for the respective company or professional. This identity verification process involves the collection of specific data to authenticate the user and their representative capacity, underscoring the importance of accurate and complete information provided by the user. Additionally, information is collected when users communicate with Mployer for support, inquiries, or feedback. Any content, including text, images, data, or video, uploaded, posted, or shared via the Services, referred to as "User-Generated Content" (UGC), is also collected. This explicitly includes information provided when claiming or updating company or professional profiles.

Information We Collect Automatically

As users interact with the Services, Mployer automatically collects certain data. This includes usage data such as IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and click stream data. This information is gathered to analyze service usage patterns and enhance the overall user experience. This external data is critical for building and maintaining the comprehensive directory, generating ratings, profiles, and insights related to businesses, employee benefit plans, retirement plans, commercial lines, insurance brokers, advisors, and carriers. The proprietary algorithms employed by Mployer process these diverse data sources to produce ratings and other insights. This process involves not only collecting existing data but also deriving new information, such as subjective ratings, from the aggregated data sets.
