According to data from EBRI’s 2022 Workplace Wellness Survey, LGBTQ employees are more unsatisfied with their benefits offerings and paid leave than non-LGBTQ employees.

What’s more, LGBTQ workers were less likely than non-LGBTQ workers to be eligible for various employee benefit programs.

According to the study’s authors, the 2022 included an oversample of LGBTQ workers to better understand their unique workplace wellness needs and to explore and identify potential differences in attitudes, experiences, and behaviors related to workplace wellness.

Employee support in all company sectors goes beyond workplace safety and inclusive language, think about providing additional benefits that solely empower LGBTQ employees to create authentic inclusion.

Specific benefits include supplying gender-affirming care and prioritizing mental health and wellness.
