A Wisconsin foster care agency with foster homes in over 35 Wisconsin counties. For over 30 years CCR has been licensing foster parents and placing children in foster homes. Our goal is simple: provide children with necessary treatment services so they can heal from their trauma. Kids in treatment foster care generally range in age from 3-18 years and have experienced significant trauma. Many are sibling pairs or groups. To qualify to be a foster parent, a very flexible schedule is required. Both married and single foster parents are needed in all Wisconsin counties. It takes a team to help kids heal from significant trauma and we are proud to have exceptional low employee turnover, high success rates with kids progressing out of foster care and a group of foster parents that have been with us for 10, 20, even 30 years since we opened. ProKids’ vision is a safe, permanent and nurturing home for every child. For 32 years, ProKids has been advocating for abused and neglected children by mobilizing our community to break the vicious cycle of child abuse and neglect. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers to speak up for children who have been abused and neglected, and help guide them into safe environments where they can thrive. The heart of this effort is our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers. Each CASA volunteer is assigned to a foster child – making sure the child is safe, that the child’s needs are being met, and helping each child move into a safe, permanent and nurturing home as quickly as possible. For more than a decade, 99% of children represented by ProKids were free from abuse while in the foster care system.

Community Partnerships is a nonprofit organization serving children with mental health issues to be successful in their homes, schools, and communities. Community Partnerships currently provides the following programs and services: Children Come First—An intensive case management program serving children in Dane County with mental health issues who are at risk of institutional placement. Case Management Services—Intensive case management services and wraparound support for children living outside of Dane County. The Engagement Project—A collaboration with the Madison School District and Memorial High School, working to successfully engage incoming freshman with an overall goal of increasing graduation rates for at risk youth. ArtSpeak—A therapeutic expressive arts group for children and families. Family Advocacy & Support—Parent and family support, including monthly Parent Meeting groups.

Our peer-reviewed research program supports projects that improve understanding of pulmonary fibrosis and will lead to successful therapies. Established in 1988, Arbor Counseling Center is a comprehensive psychotherapy practice that provides the highest quality counseling and consultation services to: Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, Families, Community Organizations, Businesses and Schools. We serve clients in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago including Lake, McHenry and Cook Counties. With 31 licensed therapists on staff and four offices in Hoffman Estates, Crystal Lake, Buffalo Grove and Gurnee, we can be more responsive to the needs of case managers, employee assistance programs, human resource professionals and referring organizations within the community. Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is staffed by legal aid attorneys, community organizers, and public policy specialists. We work with Chicago area residents who experience homelessness, helping them advocate on key issues impacting their lives, including access to shelter, housing, schools and jobs. Our advocacy includes the Bring Chicago Home campaign, launched in November 2018. Through monthly outreach at more than 40 shelters and service programs across Chicago and at community events, organizers and youth attorneys reach 10,000+ students, youth, parents and single adults each year. Our State Network is active in 14 suburbs and downstate communities, including Aurora, Rockford, Waukegan and Will County, involving about 1,300 people yearly. CCH brings more than 500 people to talk with state leaders in Springfield each year. The Law Project closed 848 legal aid cases in FY19, 71% on behalf of homeless students and unaccompanied youth. Our Speakers Bureau reaches over 3,500 people a year, many of them high school and college students. CCH's college scholarship program assists 20 students a year, providing renewable $2,500 awards. CCH does not accept government funding. Our work is supported by tax-deductible donations, foundation grants, and special events.
