Santa was an ambitious physical-meets-digital tech retail concept, where colorful trucks traversed suburban areas to bring a curated store to customers' door. The United Community Center is a comprehensive social service agency serving the families of Milwaukee's south side. Programs range from education to elder programs, meeting the needs of six weeks olds to 93 year olds and beyond! One of the largest private, non-profit Community Action Agencies in the country, CEDA serves residents throughout Cook County, Illinois. Programs and services are offered in the areas of education, emergency assistance, employment and workforce training, energy conservation and services, health and nutrition, and housing counseling services. We are constantly improving and expanding our services to further aid our mission of assisting individuals, families and communities. CEDA has service-specific locations throughout Cook County and partner community sites through which we administer our programs and outreach to the neighborhoods. The concept of community planning and decision making at the grass roots level is the hallmark of CEDA’s service delivery system. CEDA conducts Community Assessments annually with input from Cook County residents and stakeholders. CEDA is the largest of 36 Community Action Agencies (CAA) in Illinois and a member of the Community Action Partnership network comprised of 1,100 CAAs nationwide.

EPI is honored to be a six-time recipient of the Courier's Employers of Choice award - latest award received in 2022! EPI was created in 1957 by group of parents who wanted a better future for their children with disabilities. Today’s EPI is a private, non-profit organization which fosters the active community participation of people with disabilities through residential and transportation services, day activity centers, community living, employment services and much more. We believe involvement in the community is important for those we serve. The individuals we serve live and work in the community, shop at local stores, attend public events, volunteer - and just plain enjoy what the community has to offer. Additionally, EPI works to expand child care options and to improve the quality of child care available for all families in Northeast Iowa through it's Child Care Resources and Referral of Northeast Iowa program. EPI serves over 5,500 children, adults, and families in Northeast Iowa a year and employs more than 400 dedicated individuals.

For more than 155 years, the Children's Home Association of Illinois (CHAIL) has provided community support services to at-risk youth, the people who love and care for them, and the people who no longer can. The services provided at CHAIL don't just impact the individual child, they create positive ripple effects within their immediate family, neighborhood, community, and world by providing the opportunity to thrive. Since 1969, the Handicapped Development Center has been a not-for-profit organization supporting people with disabilities. Hills & Dales is a not-for-profit human services organization that provides services to children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities throughout Eastern Iowa. It has always been the primary focus to serve people with significant medical needs. Hills & Dales values a quality of life that enhances dignity, upholds rights and encourages choices by the individual.
