Little Friends is a private, non-profit organization empowering children, adults and families with autism and other developmental disabilities. Association House of Chicago is a non-profit organization offering human-services programs that address both immediate and personal development needs. Based in Humboldt Park, Association House works with a multicultural, largely Latino and African-American population of all ages in Chicago’s under-served neighborhoods. Association House promotes health and wellness, and creates opportunities for educational and economic advancement across five service areas: Child Welfare, Behavioral Health, Community Health, Workforce Development, and the Association House High School. The Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. actively seeks to provide holistic human services to individuals and families through culturally sensitive education, prevention, treatment, and recovery interventions. These services are geared toward supporting family relationships, facilitating community empowerment, and stimulating economic development. The organization has historically served the predominantly Latino-origin communities of Pilsen (Lower West Side) and Little Village (South Lawndale) in Chicago, and has since expanded the original service areas to include Archer Heights, New City, Brighton Park, Gage Park, McKinley Park, and South Chicago as well as the suburban communities of Cicero, Berwyn, Stone Park, and Melrose Park, Illinois. The agency provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organization’s mission has remained providing quality behavioral health care, prevention and educational services to economically disadvantaged children and families.

Instituto del Progreso Latino was founded in 1977. Our mission is to contribute to the fullest development of Latino immigrants and their families through education, training, and employment that fosters full participation in the changing U.S. society while preserving cultural identity and dignity. Instituto provides services to and positively impacts 8,000 families a year. One of our most well known programs is Carreras en Salud, our nationally recognized healthcare career pathways program. We also offer career pathways programming in manufacturing and retail. Instituto College, which Instituto launched in 2018, offers ADN degrees to nursing students. We are the largest processor of citizenship applications in the state of Illinois. We offer Citizenship and Adult Education classes in English and Spanish., in addition to support services that ensure our students receive the help they need, including financial coaching, child care, and benefits assistance. Instituto also operates two charter schools, Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy (IHSCA)and Instituto Justice and Leadership Academy (IJLA).

Step By Step Inc. has been providing quality Early Care & Education programs for children 6 weeks to 11 years old since 1993. Our mission is to provide every child an opportunity to grow and learn in a warm and loving environment. Our six programs are fully licensed as Day Care Centers by the Illinois Dept. of Children and Family Services. Our Alton and Brighton locations offer a part-day Illinois State Board of Education Pre-K program for eligible children. All of our centers also provide a USDA approved food program for all children enrolled.

El Valor is a non-profit community-based organization founded in 1973 by the late Guadalupe A. Reyes. A visionary leader and mother, Mrs. Reyes dreamed of a community in which all members, including her son with special needs, could live, learn and work. She and several others took out a small bank loan and borrowed a church basement in Pilsen where they started the first bilingual, bicultural rehabilitation center in Illinois, and named it El Valor, meaning "courage."​ El Valor is a multipurpose organization with a mission that reaches thousands of families throughout Chicago and surrounding communities via direct services. El Valor reaches millions more families through its National Public Awareness Campaign on early childhood learning. Our mission is to support and challenge urban families to achieve excellence and participate fully in community life. Programs enrich and empower people with disabilities, the disenfranchised and the underserved. El Valor builds stronger, more inclusive communities by supporting people with disabilities, promoting early childhood development, enriching youth, strengthening families and developing leadership. As a result, 3,000 families who have or care for a child under the age of five, including children with disabilities are in research-based early childhood programs that work. More than 1000 people with disabilities lead more independent through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Over 350 young people between 6 and 13 years of age are increasing their grade levels through academic-based youth enrichment programs. In partnership with area universities, 600 leaders from the Latino community have received master and doctorate degrees through our leadership program held at El Valor centers.
