Environmental Remedies, LLC was organized in 1998 under the laws of the state of Georgia. At inception, the primary focus of, and sole service, was Wastewater Treatment Services via our non-hazardous Centralized Waste Treatment (“CWT”) facility. Since that time, Environmental Remedies has expanded its’ focus and reach to meet the needs of our Customers throughout the Southeastern United States by adding additional lines of service, which include Industrial Cleaning Services, Disposal Services, Transportation Services and Grease Trap Services. In November of 2020, Environmental Remedies continued its expansion through its acquisition of a second facility in Macon, Georgia. This acquisition enabled us to increase our suite of services to our customers while also expanding our geographic reach into middle Georgia. The main focus at our Macon facility is solidification disposal of non-hazardous liquid waste and containerized waste such as totes and drums. In addition, we are equipped to transport and store hazardous waste (10-day storage) and universal waste at our Macon facility. Both our Atlanta and Macon facilities are fully equipped with a robust fleet of waste transportation vehicles fully capable of picking up waste from anywhere in the southeastern United States. The ethanol is utilized by major oil companies as a clean air additive in their gasoline blends. Materials that would otherwise be unusable wastes now contribute to the production of 51 million gallons of gasoline without the negative effects of food offsets and increased groundwater contamination. Secondly, our application of high speed optical sorting, grinding, and separating technologies in order to add value to bottle bill redemption plastics in the Northeast insures higher quality and higher usage of redeemed plastic, glass and aluminum containers.
