ProKids’ vision is a safe, permanent and nurturing home for every child. For 32 years, ProKids has been advocating for abused and neglected children by mobilizing our community to break the vicious cycle of child abuse and neglect. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers to speak up for children who have been abused and neglected, and help guide them into safe environments where they can thrive. The heart of this effort is our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers. Each CASA volunteer is assigned to a foster child – making sure the child is safe, that the child’s needs are being met, and helping each child move into a safe, permanent and nurturing home as quickly as possible. For more than a decade, 99% of children represented by ProKids were free from abuse while in the foster care system.

The Boards of Directors of Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc., locally based non-profit organizations serving their communities for over 60 years each, have formed a strategic alliance in an effort to obtain operational efficiencies and strengthen both agencies. This alliance also ensures the continued provision of an array of quality support services to individuals with disabilities and communities in 30 counties in Southern Indiana. In this alliance, Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc. continue to provide their current services in existing locations with their current staff members while maintaining their present-day identities. RBR Alliance, Inc. has been created as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that serves as an umbrella organization for, and provides administrative, financial, development, human resources and IT support to both agencies. Dan Lowe, current CEO of Blue River Services, has been selected to serve as the CEO of RBR Alliance, Inc. with Bettye Dunham, CEO of Rauch retired as of August of 2019. The Board for RBR Alliance, Inc. consists of appointments from existing Rauch and Blue River Board members at the time of the formation of the Alliance.

Mission: The Tennessee Justice Center advocates on behalf of poor Tennesseans: -In areas of public policy having the greatest impact on their health and welfare; -By means which afford clients opportunities to make their own voices heard; and -In ways which emphasize collaboration across lines of race, class and generation. Our clients inspire and drive the work that we do. The Center also supports the work of others engaged in similar advocacy efforts, beyond state boundaries, on behalf of the poor.
