Auto-jet, located in Des Moines, Iowa, has provided mandrel tube bending and aluminized 409, 304 and 316 stainless steel tubing for the OEM, construction and agricultural equipment exhaust, truck exhaust, school bus exhaust, and off-road vehicle exhaust markets, since 1959. Auto-jet is also your muffler manufacturer and mandrel tube bending fabricator, primarily for exhaust, air intake and coolant tubes. We are able to meet Tier IV emissions materials compliance in our assemblies. Auto-jet has also built a muffler manufacturing business, United Muffler in London Ontario, Canada to compliment the tube bending business. Auto-jet has been manufacturing school bus exhaust systems since 1959. There have been many additions to bring it to its current size of about 100,000 square feet. Auto-jet has invested a large amount of capital in machinery and buildings with growth and changes in the industry. All of the exhaust systems are produced to OE standards or better, so they are a true bolt on replacement. If it is in the catalog it is available for shipment. We say you cannot sell from empty shelves. Our quality is excellent. We have state of the art CNC benders and laser measuring equipment. Our fabrication department creates complete assemblies so the part just fits in place. We bend from 1" to 6" diameter tubes. We utilize aluminized and stainless steel material. We have been working in the Tier IV environment and are well versed in working with engineers to help solve complex installation problems and cut costs wherever possible. No job is too big or too small. We also are always willing to look outside of the box. We can custom bend tubes for applications in many industries, and we can also fabricate mufflers for your application.
