RFI specializes in Cold Forming, Thread Rolling, Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment of high torque tension bolts, shafts and pins (sizes M8 - M24) as well as supplying a variety of specialty screws (M4-M7) and other cold-formed parts to the automotive industry. Wessels offices and worldwide sales are headquartered in Greenwood, Indiana, a suburb just south of Indianapolis. Our adjacent 110,000 square foot facility is responsible for the manufacture of tanks up to 36” diameter with a variety of available lengths. In 2007, we expanded our operations to Tiffin, Ohio, and formed Wessels East, our Large Tank Division. Wessels East houses a 60,000 square foot manufacturing space with a 25-ton bridge-crane capacity and highly skilled, custom fabricators and engineers. The structure of the facility allows for easy railway access and a focus on large scale custom tanks and vessels. Wessels East is capable of building vessels up to 144” in diameter and up to 50 feet in length. With the addition of this new facility, we’re proud to offer best in class lead-times and the flexibility to service a wide range of customer demands. Wessels has developed an excellent reputation for delivering high quality products for hot or chilled water HVAC systems. Every part that goes into our products is tagged and is traceable throughout the life of the product. To ensure international standards of quality, Wessels is ASME certified and meets the Japanese Inspection Standard (JIS). As a result, we’re recognized for delivering a wide breadth of high quality pressure vessels that are cost competitive and delivered on a timely basis.

Whitney Tool is recognized as a leading manufacturer of Woodruff style slotting and keyseat milling cutters, as well as Counterbores, T-Slot, dovetail and other specialty milling cutters including combined drills and countersinks. We recently took a leadership position in the manufacture of de-burring tools through the acquisition of Cogsdill Enterprises, the developer and patent holder of the Burr-Zit™ tool. Burr-Zit™ is the original clothespin type deburring tool that can de-burr both sides of a drilled, punched or reamed hole in one operation, even when only one side is accessible. While our standard product line will continue to grow in response to our customers’ need for fast delivery of top quality cutters, we will also continue to be the industry leader in the manufacture of custom-made cutting tools. We make a variety of custom-made shank type and arbor type milling cutters in high speed steel, cobalt, carbide tipped and solid carbide. We also do our own heat treating, which gives us maximum control over the quality and scheduling of our cutters. Also available: Special forms, profiles, left hand cut, Cobalt Super High Speed Steel and Titanium Nitride coating and special diameters for Pilots for Counterbores. Whitney Tool provides all types of PVD coatings, including TiN, TiCN, TiALN, as well as other special coatings. We can also provide operation specific edge prep.
