Strings Music Festival presents music of the highest quality in an intimate mountain setting. Our summer festival includes a genre-spanning lineup featuring classical musicians from the nation’s top orchestras and chart-topping popular contemporary artists. All of whom perform in an intimate, 569-seat Pavilion nestled at the base of Steamboat’s mountains. Outside of our venue, we serve the community with a variety of free programming and an in-school education program called Strings School Days. This offering cultivates music appreciation and ability in Northwest Colorado’s K-12 students. Concerts are held at the intimate 569-seat Strings Music Pavilion, located at the corner of Mt. Werner and Pine Grove Roads in Steamboat Springs. The unique facility features sliding glass panels, capturing the feeling of a warm summer night concert in a park. The Steamboat Ski Resort on Mount Werner peeking in the windows and the sun setting over the Yampa Valley add the finishing touches to the music in the mountains experience. The mission of Strings Music Festival is to present innovative programs of distinctive classical and popular contemporary music in an intimate and friendly setting to audiences of all ages, enhancing the cultural, educational and entertainment experiences of the community of Northwest Colorado and its visitors. Strings Music Festival is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and operates with the support of our sponsors and individual donors.

THE VISION The Center is a hub for the artistic, cultural and creative activity in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We are fueled by innovation, inspired by collaboration and proud to share our 78,000 sq. foot campus with 19 inspired local, regional and state-wide non-profit organizations who call The Center home. THE MISSION To connect our creative community by providing a dedicated campus, supporting excellent programming, and nurturing a collaborative spirit. BRIEF HISTORY In 1991, Jackson-based arts organizations, artists and concerned community members collectively recognized that increasing rents in inadequate facilities threatened Jackson Hole’s local arts organizations. With a $1000 grant from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, a plan for a shared facility was born. Over the course of five years, a needs assessment, existing facilities assessment, site selection study, feasibility study and an economic impact study all supported the need for an art center in Jackson. Construction of the facility was completed in 2007, and today Center for the Arts, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and 78,000 square foot campus, serves all of Jackson Hole and the surrounding region by pursuing its dedicated mission within the walls of our creative campus.

The Grand Teton Music Festival’s mission is to provide exhilarating musical experiences. The festival was founded in 1962 by the Jackson Hole Fine Arts Festival to foster classical music experiences for performers and audiences and to improve and enrich the cultural awareness and opportunities for people in Wyoming and the adjacent area. More than 60 years since its humble beginnings performing in a tent at the base of the Tetons, the Festival is now sought after for both listeners and performers alike as a destination to experience the finest in classical music throughout the summer. The Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra consists of top talent from across the country, including 250 musicians from 90 orchestras and 65 institutions of higher learning, many performing together each summer for over 25 years. The Festival also welcomes some of the most sought-after soloists and visiting artists in classical music today. Under the baton of world-renowned Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles, these musicians come together to gather inspiration from the mountain setting and to provide spectacular music for Festival audiences.
