The LIUNA National (Industrial) Pension Fund (LNIPF) was founded in 1967 by the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) and employers of LIUNA members for the purpose of providing retirement income benefits. Established for non-construction workers, LNIPF covers workers in a broad range of employment, including professional, dental, manufacturing, and service contracts. Federal government, public sector and others in various job classifications are also covered by the Fund. There are more than 24,000 active participants covered by the fund while more than 13,000 retirees are receiving benefits. LNIPF is governed by a Board of Trustees that is composed of three Union Trustees and three Employer Trustees. It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees to administer the Plan in the best interests of Plan Participants

National Railway Labor Conference is an association of all U.S. Class I freight railroads and many smaller freight and passenger lines. Through its National Carriers’ Conference Committee (NCCC), the NRLC represents most of its members in national (multi-employer) negotiations with the twelve major rail labor organizations. The recently-concluded round, which began January 1, 2015, covered more than 30 railroads and 145,000 employees. WISE Trust – Workplace Insurance and Safety Employee Trust – is the defined benefit pension plan for almost 10,000 active, deferred, and retired workplace insurance and safety employees of Ontario.
