Established in 1998, and inaugurated its strong existence in the Egyptian market in 2002 through the alliance of the long experiences, efforts, and thoughts of experts in Catering, Finance, and Meat processing, EgySwiss Food Company started the first factory specialized in producing high quality processed meat and poultry products. The factory started with a semi-automated operation with a capacity to produce small batches, yet high volumes with different recipes tailored to the needs of each and every client from 5-Star Hotels and Airlines to Catering companies and restaurants. The Group is comprised of four separate legal entities, namely: 1. EgySwiss Food Company (“EFC”): Produces processed meat and poultry products 2. Egyptian Company for Food Industries & Cooling (“ECFC”): Produces processed fish products 3. Egyptian Company for Investment & Slaughter Houses (“EIS”): Engaged in the slaughtering, freezing, cooling, and processing of poultry 4. EgySwiss Trading Company (“ETC”): Acts as an importer and distributor of meat, poultry, and fish raw materials

Over twenty years ago, Rick and Ann Yoder embarked on a trip throughout Southeast Asia, they returned to Seattle inspired to create a restaurant modeled on their experiences with the incredible food and culture of the Eastern world. In 1989 they created Wild Ginger, and the result was a tremendous success. This pillar of Asian dining quickly became one of the most popular restauarants in the Northwest and a true Seattle original. The last twenty years has seen numerous recognitions and awards bestowed upon Wild Ginger, including a James Beard Award and, most recently, The Wine Spectator Grand Award of Excellence.

Arnies Restaurants and the Coho Café are owned by Arnies Restaurants N.W., Inc., a privately owned restaurant company. The first Arnies restaurant was built in Mukilteo (1979) and has a sweeping view of Puget Sound, Whidbey and Camano Islands, and Mt. Baker. The second Arnies (1981) is located on the Edmonds waterfront with spectacular views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The first Coho Café was built in Redmond (1998), just north of downtown Redmond, is now closed. The second Coho Café was built in Issaquah (2001), it is located in Lake Sammamish Center, just north of downtown Issaquah.
