The Baltimore Orioles are a Major League Baseball team playing based in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. Since the St. Louis Browns moved to Baltimore in 1954, the Orioles have become a staple in downtown Baltimore. Moving forward, the club has collected 3 World Series titles, 7 American League Pennants, 10 American League East Division titles, and 3 Wild Card berths. The Thomas Jefferson Foundation (formerly the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation) owns and operates Monticello, the mountaintop home of Thomas Jefferson and the only home in America on the elite World Heritage List of the United Nations.
