Currently, the main concerns of the Ponca Tribe are twofold: 1) To provide for the needs of its people, namely, through the programs offered by the Tribe 2) To preserve what remains of its culture. Although lacking any land base, the Tribe does have designated “service area" counties: twelve in Nebraska, one in South Dakota, and two in Iowa. The Tribe also has office sites located in Niobrara, Norfolk, Lincoln, and Omaha, in Nebraska, and Carter Lake and Sioux City office in Iowa.

A volunteer-based organization that specializes in youth leadership development. We run three Summer Leadership Workshops concurrently, twice a summer, for high school and middle school students. During the other 355 days, we offer One-Day Workshops, Leadership Retreats, Convention Services and other consulting services. Launch Leadership was formally founded in 2013, but existed as the NASC Volunteer Staff for more than 35 years prior to establishing its own identity. The Volunteer Staff begin in 1977 when several volunteers decided they could put on a leadership workshop without the assistance of outside consultants. NASC has sponsored the Summer Leadership Workshop for more than 50 years and we continue to develop the future leaders of Nebraska each summer.
