FES is an entity within the Ministry for Education that provides a range of innovative educational services and initiatives, including childcare, after-school care, parental empowerment services and youth initiatives.

Today, the Ponca Tribe is in the process of restoration as is so aptly expressed by its mission statement: We, the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, in order to restore all rights previously held by our people and their descendants, promote peace, prosperity, happiness, and the general welfare of the citizens of our Tribe and our posterity: to exercise home rule, to conserve and perpetuate all worthy traditions and cultural elements of our people long established by customs; to improve our social order; to protect our rights as individuals; to promote business enterprise, both cooperative and individual; to promote educational opportunities for all Northern Ponca people; to consolidate our land holdings; and to provide for the inheritance of both real and personal property. Currently, the main concerns of the Ponca Tribe are twofold: 1) To provide for the needs of its people, namely, through the programs offered by the Tribe 2) To preserve what remains of its culture. Although lacking any land base, the Tribe does have designated “service area" counties: twelve in Nebraska, one in South Dakota, and two in Iowa. The Tribe also has office sites located in Niobrara, Norfolk, Lincoln, and Omaha, in Nebraska, and Carter Lake and Sioux City office in Iowa.

Pediatric Therapy, Adult Day Services, Adult Residential Services, Job Employment Services as well as training and development for families and professionals help individuals with disabilities thrive and enhance their development toward independence.

Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (KSBBBS) matches youth facing adversity with caring, adult mentors outside of their home. We believe that all youth - regardless of race, socioeconomic status, or family background - can achieve success in life, especially with the guidance and support of a caring adult mentor. These one-to-one professionally-supported friendships last a minimum of one year. However, the effects of these friendships last a lifetime. ​Mission: Create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Vision: that all youth achieve success in life. Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters is the second-largest one-to-one mentoring agency in the nation, and has received national acclaim from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Forbes and USA Today for our quality mentoring and innovative approach to non-profit management.

Boys & Girls Clubs encourage all kids to BE GREAT by nurturing their self-esteem through instilling in them a sense of belonging, competence, power and influence, and usefulness. The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas do this daily by providing young people with caring adult professionals and fun, age-appropriate, well-rounded programming. The Club has been giving kids a better chance against problems such as gangs, street violence, and juvenile crime since 1990.

A volunteer-based organization that specializes in youth leadership development. We run three Summer Leadership Workshops concurrently, twice a summer, for high school and middle school students. During the other 355 days, we offer One-Day Workshops, Leadership Retreats, Convention Services and other consulting services. Launch Leadership was formally founded in 2013, but existed as the NASC Volunteer Staff for more than 35 years prior to establishing its own identity. The Volunteer Staff begin in 1977 when several volunteers decided they could put on a leadership workshop without the assistance of outside consultants. NASC has sponsored the Summer Leadership Workshop for more than 50 years and we continue to develop the future leaders of Nebraska each summer.
