For those who cannot afford therapy, we offer high-quality counseling services to children, individuals, couples and families through our Bette D. Harris Family & Child Clinic, the Clinic is staffed by our outstanding graduate-level therapists-in-training, who are educated and supervised by our renowned therapists.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, believes a healthy community starts with food. We are at the center of a network of more than 800 partner organizations and programs – food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, mobile distributions and other partners – working to bring food, dignity and hope to our neighbors across Chicago and Cook County. Medical Home Network (MHN) powers the future of healthcare delivery by creating community-based systems of care through the combination of our proven model and digital platform, which transforms care and consistently delivers leading health outcomes, savings, and quality results under value-based care. MHN was founded in 2009 by the Comer Family Foundation to unite multiple health systems and providers in Chicago around a vision to reduce systemic gaps in care and social determinants that impact the health of under-resourced communities. While remaining committed to Chicago, MHN is expanding its work into new markets with the goal of making a national impact on community health. Empowering Community Independence The Chicago Lighthouse is the most comprehensive agency serving people who are blind, visually impaired, disabled and Veterans in the United States. Each of our 40 programs and services are designed to help individuals of all ages, races, income levels, and abilities reach the same goal: to live as confidently and independently as possible. Our programs include: •Comprehensive Low Vision Services that provide low vision diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and assistive technology for people of all ages and backgrounds; •Employment Services, empowering individuals with disabilities and Veterans to gain the skills they need to support themselves and improve their quality of life; •Education that provides children, adolescents, and young adults with vision impairments and often other disabilities reach developmental and social milestones; and •Advocacy and Independent Living Programs, that enable clients to thrive in an accessible, inclusive community. In addition, The Lighthouse has developed several Social Enterprise businesses in the areas of Customer Service, Digital Accessibility Consulting, Manufacturing and Shipping that serve the dual purpose of providing our clients with accessible, inclusive jobs and generating revenue to support our clinical and social service programs.

One Hope United (OHU) is a nonprofit providing early childhood education, child and family services, behavioral and mental health resources, and residential programs for more than 129 years. We’re proud to serve over 10,000 children and families each year across Illinois and Florida. Through our evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, we empower children and families to see and create a future where, regardless of their past, they can reach their full potential. Our Mission One Hope United serves and advocates for the thriving of children, youth, and families through quality early childhood education, residential care, child welfare, and mental health services. Our Vision One Hope United seeks to advance child and family services through effective evidence-based practices, policy that focuses on nurturing healthy families, and partnerships that extend its reach.

Friend Family Health Center, Inc. (“Friend Family”) was started with the development of the Friend Family Foundation by Berman and Hannah Friend in the 1930s. Nearly 70 years later, Friend Family applied for and was designated as a federally qualified health center (FQHC) to continue to ensure access to quality care in medically underserved areas. Since then, we have opened several service sites to deliver effective care to our communities, regardless of patient income. Today, Friend Family Health Center’s delivery sites provide care services to over 30,000 patients on an annual basis. We are proud to be recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, a designation that demonstrates our commitment to improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of healthcare delivery. Although Friend Family has grown significantly, both in number of service delivery sites and patients, we remain true to our founding philosophy: to provide more medically underserved and low-income individuals and families access to high quality health services while alleviating disparities in health care outcomes.

Believing in the dignity of all people, the objective of REAL Services is to assist in establishing a community in which those we serve can maintain their independence to the maximum degree possible and find meaning and satisfaction throughout their lives. To fulfill our mission, the programs we offer enhance quality of life. Additional programs provide education for individuals and families through Options Counseling, Aging and Disability Resource Center, Lunch n’ Learns, Chronic Disease Management, Medicare Counseling, Financial Literacy, and more. REAL Services is an umbrella organization for more than 20 programs that assist elderly, disabled and low-income individuals in 12 Northern Indiana County. Our programs address the needs of education, nutrition, self-sufficiency, and protection for 30,000 people in northern Indiana each year. REAL Services has three "divisions"​: Area Agency on Aging, Community Action Agency, and Alzheimer’s Services. These three divisions serve vulnerable older adults and low-income persons of all ages. The emphasis of the Area Agency on Aging is to assist older people to maintain independence as much as possible. The emphasis of the Community Action Agency is to assist low-income families to achieve self-sufficiency. Alzheimer’s Services of Northern Indiana provides support to those suffering from dementia. REAL Services is the Area Agency on Aging for the Older Americans Act which builds a network of services for older adults and the physically disabled. Community Services programs, which support single parents and low-income families, are designed to break the cycle of dependence on public assistance. REAL Services, believing in the dignity of all people, will provide services without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or status as a veteran.

Suburban Access provides individual service coordination and case management for individuals with intellectual disabilities in south and west suburban Cook County, Illinois. Programs include the adult DD program, Child and Family Connections Early Intervention, and Early Intervention monitoring.
