Council on Aging (COA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life for older adults, people with disabilities and their families. COA promotes choice, independence, dignity and well-being through a range of services that help people remain independent for as long as possible. Since 1974, COA has served as the state-designated Area Agency on Aging for Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties. One call to COA links people to the wide variety of agencies, information and programs that serve older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. At Lighthouse, the light is always on, and the door is always open for any young person looking for help. And that’s only the beginning. Once inside, they receive the personalized care and unconditional support they need to thrive. At Lighthouse, a wide range of services is available so the young person can connect with what they need in one place. Approximately 400 young people sleep safely under a Lighthouse roof each night. And each one has the entire Lighthouse team on their side, providing access to therapy, case management, life skills training, and much more. One of the largest private, non-profit Community Action Agencies in the country, CEDA serves residents throughout Cook County, Illinois. Programs and services are offered in the areas of education, emergency assistance, employment and workforce training, energy conservation and services, health and nutrition, and housing counseling services. CEDA has service-specific locations throughout Cook County and partner community sites through which we administer our programs and outreach to the neighborhoods. The concept of community planning and decision making at the grass roots level is the hallmark of CEDA’s service delivery system. CEDA conducts Community Assessments annually with input from Cook County residents and stakeholders. CEDA is the largest of 36 Community Action Agencies (CAA) in Illinois and a member of the Community Action Partnership network comprised of 1,100 CAAs nationwide.

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions provides strengths-based, family-centered, trauma-informed social services to individuals and families who have experienced life-changing trauma, abuse and neglect, and other life challenges .
