Established in 1977, Hale Ho Aloha's mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of Hawaii's elderly. Our great staff of over 100 people works with aloha to relieve families of physical & emotional stress. We operate in a very open and relaxed "Hawaiian style" - our facility (while spotlessly clean and fully equipped for the medical needs of our residents) emphasizes fresh air, open windows, natural light and the opportunity to relax outdoors on our lanais. Our grounds (tucked away in a quiet corner of the Pacific Heights watershed) abound with colorful plants, and offer stunning views of Honolulu, from Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head. Our Hawaiian name translates as "House of Love".

As Hospice Hawaii, we provided Hospice Care at journey’s end. Now as Navian Hawaii, we’re expanding our services so we can provide care earlier in a patient’s journey. Our new Integrated Care delivers specialized care to those with serious illnesses, before Hospice Care is needed. Serving Oahu, Molokai and Lanai Navian is a combination of the words “Navigator” and “Guardian.” As a navigator, we provide clarity and guidance through times of uncertainty. As a guardian, we care for people and protect their wishes. Navian Hawaii is here to guide and assist patients and their families through difficult times, providing Integrated Care to patients battling serious illnesses or delivering Hospice Care to patients nearing their end-of-life journey. As depicted in our logo, a wave merging with our brand mark of the heart, Navian Hawaii is all about caring for others. Accented in green, the crest of the wave represents turbulence at the ocean’s surface, much like the emotional ups and downs our patients go through. But below the surface, under the waves, there is peace and calm. As navigators and guardians, we help patients live more fully by finding the calm within.

As a nonprofit federally qualified health center, Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles (FHCCGLA) has been providing health care services for low income and marginalized residents of its service area for more than 86 years. Founded in 1925 as “The Mother's Clinic,” FHCCGLA has provided uninterrupted healthcare services over the years. In 2008, FHCCGLA received its Federally Qualified Health Center designation in recognition of the comprehensive primary care that it provides indigent and medically uninsured residents. In 2011 FHCCGLA provided health care services to over 10,000 patients through over 35,000 patient visits. Currently FHCCGLA provides care through four facilities: the Bell Gardens Family Medical Center; the Hawaiian Gardens Health Center; the Downey Family Health Center; and Montebello Family Health Center. As FHCCGLA expands services to new commities it intends to always remain true its legacy of compassionate service to all.
