I oversaw all daily Clubhouse operations including room sales, food and beverage, and special events at this 265-member club grossing $3.5 million annually and with F&B sales of $800K and room sales of $500K. Direct reports included the Executive Chef, Front Desk Manager, Maintenance Engineer, Head Housekeeper, Dining Room Manager, and Bar Manager.
As Clubhouse Manager, I developed and implemented employee manuals, training manuals, and orientation handbooks for all clubhouse staff. I budgeted operating expenses and revenues for food and beverage, the rooms department, housekeeping, security, and all clubhouse administrative expenses and coordinated capital improvements to the Clubhouse and guest cottages. Additionally, I oversaw the upkeep and maintenance of 35 private homes.
Key accomplishments included:
• Increased F&B sales 55% by enhancing service, improving food preparation and variety, and increasing and diversifying our wine list
• Restructured wine list, increasing sales by 105%
• Created systems including a front desk manual and reservations system, helping increase room reservations and revenues by 74%
• Installed and programmed Jonas Club Software for club-wide point of sale (POS)
