The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA conducts more than 100 tournaments annually for talented junior golfers who intend to play college golf. Through AJGA events, college coaches gain valuable recruiting information to help them find the players best suited for their teams. As these juniors receive college golf scholarships and move on to the next level, it is the fulfillment of the AJGA's mission.

The Center for Puppetry Arts is home to nearly 5000 puppets and artifacts including the largest collection of Jim Henson puppets in the world. The mission of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra is to enrich the cultural life of South Carolina's Lowcountry with high-quality performances of symphonic and chamber music, and unique and engaging music education opportunities throughout the region.

The Springer Opera House is a producing theatre, a national historic landmark, a theatre academy for children ages 5-18 and can be rented for events. Six productions are mounted in Emily Woodruff Hall, three in McClure Theatre and three children's productions performed in McClure Theatre. Each spring a show is produced to tour the country concentrating in the southeast. Public tours of the historic landmark are given every Monday and Wednesday at 3:30pm and at special request. Tours include the history of the building and a peek behind the curtain of a producing theatre. The Springer Theatre Academy offers training in 2 to 4 week programming throughout the summer and on Saturdays in fall and winter. Training focuses on "Life Skills Through Stage Skills". This focus is currently being expanded to corporations using the tools of the Academy. The Springer is the perfect setting for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, meeting or production on either of the two stages.
