Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays (I/DD), and their families. We were originally established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care and over the years have developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with an intellectual or developmental disability. We do this using a person-centered approach in coordinating care, promoting choices, and collaborating with community partners. TRE has relationships with over 200 community partners to which we refer the people and families we serve to increase opportunities, promote choice, and enhance life in the community. TRE is driven by the core values of respect, integrity, partnership, excellence, and accountability. Although TRE receives government funding for supports, it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that also relies on community investments in order to enhance the quality of life for the people we serve.
