A recent study from The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization for employers, found that employers "remain disappointed" with their healthcare plans, resulting in an average letter grade rating of "C," according to a report by Med City News.
Respondents were asked to grade their health plans based on four important factors—its receptivity to employer concerns, payment reform initiatives, value techniques, and level of clarity in assisting employers and their employees in selecting a provider.
Health plans received a 2.29 GPA in 2022, a slight decrease from Leapfrog’s prior survey in 2020, which had a 2.57 GPA.
