Amazon Launches Pharmaceutical Subscription Service for Prime Members

According to a report from Reuters, Amazon is stepping further into the healthcare industry by offering a $5 monthly subscription plan for U.S. Prime members.  

Amazon’s new pharmaceutical subscription service, called RxPass, will offer an array of generic medications that can be delivered straight to members’ homes.

Currently, there are over 50 drugs available through the RxPass program that address 80-plus chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, anxiety, and diabetes, among others.
