60.2% of the US Population is employed according to the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics

This figure has been consistently climbing after falling from 61.1% in February of 2020 down to 51.3% just two months later in April of 2020. 

For context, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, as of the most recent data available, about 23.5% of the US population is made up of minors under the age of 18, while another 17% or so of the US population is over the age of 65.

The last time that the employed percentage of the US population matched 60.2% was in April of 2017.
