Our family is the result of 5 different organizations coming together as one cohesive group (HIG), leveraging the expertise of each of our legacy agencies to operate as one synergized team. We started with Center of Insurance becoming part of Houchens in the late 90’s. Gradually we added Insurance Specialist as our benefits expertise, then Van Meter Insurance joined the team in 2006 which brought a toolbox full of resources to allow the organization to compete at the next level.
