Indian Community School (ICS) is a private, faith-based school located in Franklin, Wisconsin, with an intertribal student population of 365 students in K4-8th grades. Seeds of Health, Inc. was incorporated in 1983 designed to address the health and educational needs of Milwaukee- area women, adolescents and children. The programs operating under the Seeds of Health, Inc. umbrella include Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program and five schools, one K-4 through 8 elementary school and four high schools, each with a distinct mission. Since opening its first school in 1988 serving 25 students, Seeds of Health, Inc. has progressively expanded its educational services and currently serves approximately 1,300 students and has the only K-12 charter school system in the State of Wisconsin. Seeds of Health, Inc. operates its schools through partnership and charter agreements with the Milwaukee Public Schools and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the WIC Program through the Department of Health and Family Services.

Summit School, Inc. is a 55-year-old private education program committed to the vision of Empowering Children to Achieve Their Individual Potential. Whether the student is in the Summit School Early Learning Center or the Summit School Special Education Center, all efforts serve at-risk children and drive our mission to Provide Programs That Build A Solid Foundation For Educational And Lifelong Success. Summit School Special Education Center The Summit School Special Education Center is a small, therapeutic ISBE approved and AdvancED accredited facility serving an average of 60 students whose educational needs are best served in a non-public school environment. Summit students, from kindergarten through high school graduation, are typically placed by home school districts according to students’ individual education plans (IEPs). Children with identified learning, attentional and/or social difficulties, including children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, attend Summit from over 30 school districts. Students benefit from an array of educational and support services, and work with a team of educators, therapists and staff to optimize success. Summit School Early Learning Center The Summit School Early Learning Center is an Illinois Governor’s ExceleRate Gold Circle of Quality accredited preschool program serving three-to-five-year-olds deemed to be developmentally at risk. At no cost to families, the Center strives to prepare 130 children for kindergarten by providing programming to develop social-emotional skills, cognitive skills, math and literacy skills.

Founded in 1920, Hadley is the largest, worldwide provider of distance education for people over the age of 14 who are blind or visually impaired. Hadley serves approximately 10,000 students in all 50 states and more than 100 countries each year. The school offers more than 100 courses in five different programs areas: High School, Adult Continuing Education, Family Education, Professional Studies and Low Vision Focus. Courses cover a range of subjects, from independent living and employment to access technology, academic studies and leisure activities. The curriculum is provided in a variety of formats, including large print, braille, audio and online. Courses are tuition-free for people who are blind or visually impaired and their family members. There is modest tuition for professionals. Hadley relies on contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations to support its award-winning programs.
