Administration
1. Controls office workflow to regulate and maintain a balanced workload for administrative staff with minimum overtime.
2. Serves as member of the management/executive committee.
3. Standardizes office procedures, systems, and forms. Recommends system revisions and implements new forms and procedures as necessary.

Personnel
1. Recruits, interviews, and hires candidates for administrative positions.
2. Assigns responsibilities and supervises the administrative staff; develops training programs and career paths for administrative staff; reviews performance and determines compensation program for administrative staff.
3. Prepares recruiting literature and coordinates recruiting programs.
4. Assists management in interviewing accounting staff.
5. Administers all employee benefit programs.
Scheduling and Production Control
1. Schedules and staffs all engagements including pro forma type scheduling, 12 months in advance.
2. Approves and schedules personal time and vacations.
3. Coordinates and arranges staff meetings and technical sessions.
4. Monitors the staff work schedules and keeps accurate records of completed year-end engagements and all extensions.
Public Relations
1.Supervises the quarterly mailing of client newsletter and all other promotional mailings.
2. Assists in developing firm public relations and marketing tools, such as firm brochure.
3. Supervises firm publicity efforts. Issues news releases to local newspapers.
Finance
1. Performs all controllership functions, including approving all expenditures, signing checks, monitoring cash flow and accounts receivable.
2. Prepares firm operating and capital budgets; directs spending of approved budgeted items.
3. Supervises internal accounting functions and procedures, including preparation of firm’s monthly and annual financial statements and tax returns.
4. Provides partners and managers with periodic financial and practice management reports as requested.
