The CDC reports that one in six children has a developmental delay and we are here to meet the needs of a large and growing population. The Houston Area Women's Center (HAWC) is Houston's largest non-profit support services for domestic violence and sexual assault. HAWC works to end domestic and sexual violence and supports all in building safe and healthy lives through advocacy, counseling, education, shelter and support services. Our services are free, confidential and available to everyone.  

Clarewood House offers multiple living options to enjoy life now and in the future, including Independent Living apartments, Assisted Living and Extended Care Center/Rehabilitation Center.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend strengthens the child's voice, heals the hurt, and breaks the cycle of abuse and neglect for children and families in Fort Bend and surrounding counties. Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a nonprofit agency working to end child abuse in Fort Bend County. We serve child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect through a "one-stop", comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach. We operate two nationally-affiliated programs: Court Appounted Special Advocates (CASA) - We advocate for children in the foster care system through trained community volunteers. Our goal is to find children a safe and permanent home. Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) - We provide a safe place for children who have been sexually abused, severely physically abused or witnesses to domestic homicide to disclose their abuse to forensic interviewers. A team of social workers, licensed therapist and victim advocacy specialists provide free therapy, family support and criminal court advocacy. We partner with law enforcement and the district attorney's office on the prosecution of criminal cases. - We match every child in foster care with a CASA volunteer. - We have never turned away a child in need of our services. - All of our services are free.

Alexander Jewish Family Service a premiere social service agency dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals, families and communities. Alexander JFS serves members of the Jewish community as well as individuals of all faiths and backgrounds. We focus on strengthening family life, laying the foundation for self-sufficiency and improving both the social and economic conditions of our clients. Alexander JFS offers a family of services that support and transform lives by empowering clients to strengthen skills, achieve goals and make decisions that will change the trajectory of their lives. Our services include: Behavioral & Mental Health Services, Coaching & Case Management, Disability Services, Chaplaincy Services, and the Career & Employment Center. From its founding in 1913, Alexander JFS has provided assistance and professional resources to members of Houston’s Jewish community. Through the years, as our community’s needs have grown, so have our programs and staff. As a United Way Agency, Alexander JFS serves as a resource for residents all faiths and backgrounds in our catchment area as well as the Jewish community throughout Greater Houston. All fees are affordable and based on a flexible fee scale which takes into account the client’s ability to pay. No client is ever refused quality care due to an inability to pay. Many services are covered by Medicare or private health insurance plans.

In this position, I supported hundreds of teams working around the world through administrative functions, communicating between the field services and accounting departments to ensure timely completion of requests, and developing systems and processes for a growing Human Resources Department.
