-Benefit Management: Implemented a robust health insurance program. Extensive knowledge and experience with ERISA/COBRA/HIPAA/FMLA/ACA compliance. Point of contact for brokers, carriers and employees. Serve as a consultant to decisively determine employee eligibility, onboard and provide team members plan documents, setup employee accounts, determine 401K calculations and withholdings, partner with admin firm on regulatory compliance, preparation of Form 5500 and filings with the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA).
-Human Resources Management: Manage HR related activities including records, payroll, employee onboarding and termination procedures, and employee relations. Create performance management metrics, create and recommend policies and procedures, and ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
-Financial Management: Serve as subject matter expert for all account receivable (AR) and account payable (AP) matters. Manage all vendor accounts, invoicing, employee benefits, insurance coverage, and membership dues. Developed and managed a dashboard to track expenses, payments, and reconcile bank statements.
-Tax Administration: Strategically partner with external financial professionals to present financial reports and forecast estimated quarterly tax payments, prepare and file property tax rendition and 1099s.
-Paralegal: Draft legal documents and memoranda, conduct legal research, work with state agencies such as the Railroad Commission of Texas, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality on client matters including regulatory compliance, permit seeking, contested case hearings, and UIC Injection Well monitoring. Calendaring and scheduling of filing dates, hearing dates, and e-filing documents.
