Southwest Key Programs (SWK) is one of the largest, Latino-led nonprofit organizations in the United States. Founded in 1987, SWK has been on the frontline of social justice, youth advocacy, immigration, and helping nurture the hearts and minds of children, youth, and families.

One Voice Central Texas is a coalition of the leadership of over one hundred nonprofit health and human service organizations working to make sure that everyone can contribute to our community and thrive. We represent the integrated network of human services that connects everyone of all ages and circumstances to social resources, opportunities, and support so that each person can reach their highest potential. We are the voice for those in the community who may have difficulty weathering the life storms that affect all of us. Our members work every day with individuals and families to access healthcare, have stable housing, meet basic needs, create a sense of purpose, have the tools necessary to achieve their goals, and connect with others and the community. One Voice is also committed to ensuring our members have the resources and opportunities they need to be successful, including access to research on effective practices and peer networking for nonprofit leaders.

Our mission is to help people with disabilities understand and exercise their rights under the law, ensuring their full and equal participation in society. Our headquarters are in Austin, and we have regional offices in Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, McAllen, and San Antonio. Our mission is to be the leading advocate for Delaware’s children. CHILD, Inc. provides creative prevention and treatment programs that meet the changing needs of families. We serve children traumatized by neglect and abuse and their parents. Our team serves those involved in domestic violence situations, especially children. By protecting the victims and treating those responsible for acts of domestic violence we help children heal. We also offer a full array of educational, prevention and clinical services focused on strengthening the parent/child relationship by promoting positive parenting skills through parenting workshops and co-parenting support. We help children and families achieve justice and healing in the case of child abuse or victimization – and we’re leading the charge to end child sexual abuse.

The Center for Child Protection, a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, is the first stop for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse and for children who have witnessed a violent crime. The Center is a child-friendly, specially-equipped facility where children go for recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. It is the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation of crimes against children. All services are provided to children and their protective caregivers at no charge and most are available in English and Spanish. Children are referred to the Center for Child Protection for services exclusively through law enforcement and Child Protective Services when one or more of the following circumstances have occurred: - A child made an outcry of sexual abuse. - A child has experienced physical abuse. - A child has witnessed a violent crime.

At the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. TSAHC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was created at the direction of the Texas Legislature in 1994 to serve as a self-sustaining, statewide affordable housing provider. At TSAHC we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. Our innovative programs address the housing needs of low-income families and underserved communities. What We Do Our programs target the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations who do not have acceptable housing options through conventional financial channels. At TSAHC, addressing this critical and expanding need with innovative housing programs is our daily mission. Austin Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Austin Habitat focuses on the holistic experience of homeownership as a catalyst for community change. Austin Habitat goes beyond the well-known new homeownership program by also offering critical home repairs to low-income homeowners and housing counseling to the general Austin community. Our programs are designed to develop and preserve strong communities by providing comprehensive services that prepare homebuyers for the responsibilities of homeownership, incentivize long-term ownership, and keep existing homeowners in their homes.

Our mission is to support healing and growth in children, young adults and families by providing a continuum of care, support and resources. We serve individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse and neglect.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas supports families with critically ill or injured children by providing programs and support services so they can stay close to their critically ill or injured children. Our four programs include: 1. 30 guest rooms at the Ronald McDonald House located near Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin 2. Seven Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located inside the hospitals where families can rest and recuperate not far from their child. 3. The Happy Wheels Carts stroll five area hospital hallways bringing complimentary items to families waiting by their child’s bedside. 4. And the Healing Hearts program, which supports families who have lost a child through burial assistance and bereavement support. These programs provide much needed support and save families thousands of dollars in lodging and food expenses alone with some families needing 100+ days of lodging. RMHC CTX is a 501(c)3 tax-deductible organization and public charity that relies on contributions from the greater Central Texas community, corporate donors and funders and the local Central Texas McDonald’s owner/operators to continue its mission.

CASA of Travis County speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest.
