The NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne. NEPA Alliance services include Business Financing, Government Contracting Assistance, International Trade Assistance, Non Profit Assistance, Transportation Planning, Research and Information, and Local Government Services. OUR GOALS The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance will have a positive impact on the economic and community development of the region, by utilizing the exceptional abilities of our professional staff to: •Increase the number and quality of the services we provide to business clients •Provide valuable services to local governments •Provide valuable services to nonprofit entities through the Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC) •Strive to consistently achieve 100% customer satisfaction •Maintain and enhance financial stability of our organization •Provide support for the creation or retention of 2,250 jobs annually •Communicate the positive impact of our services on our region •Seek and develop partnerships with other organizations to enhance delivery of programs and services and utilize resources efficiently

More than 150,000 local people benefit from our funded health and human service programs. Our work is only possible with the great support demonstrated by the community, including over 1,400 volunteers and more than 9,000 contributors. We bring together businesses, community organizations, the educational community, labor and others to strengthen Berks County. By working with our 33 agency partners, nonprofits and trained volunteers we invest in strategies to create community change. By managing initiatives like 2-1-1 we connect people with community resources through a free, 24/7 Information & Referral service. We lead the community initiative Ready.Set.READ! to focus on early grade reading proficiency, and ultimately help kids achieve academic success and shape our community’s future.

CAN DO, Inc., is a non-profit industrial/economic development corporation serving Greater Hazleton in Northeastern Pennsylvania, which is just a short drive from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston or Washington, D.C. Our coverage area includes portions of Luzerne, Schuylkill and Carbon counties. The Hazleton area is bordered on the west by Columbia County, east by the Lehigh River, north by Wilkes-Barre, and south by upper Schuylkill and Carbon counties. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Greater Hazleton through the creation of employment opportunities. Since 1956, CAN DO has fostered the economic activity in our community and has evolved into a one-stop shop for business and industry.

AllSpire Health Partners, LLC is a collaborative think tank and incubator created by a group of independent health systems in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with the purpose of driving clinical excellence, improving affordability of health care, and enhancing economic sustainability.

Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County was first incorporated 1990 as the 535th affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. To date, we have built 123 homes and repaired many others, providing a hand-up to homeownership! Our Mission: Building Communities, Empowering Families Our Homeownership Program provides opportunities for low-income individuals and families to increase their independence and economic well being through affordable homeownership. While we pursue home-building projects throughout Bucks County, we encourage interested persons to see where we’re building and to review program qualifications on our website, www.habitatbucks.org. Our Home Repair program provides affordable home repairs for low-income homeowners in Bucks County who are affected by age, disability or family circumstances. Bucks County homeowners can reclaim their homes with pride and dignity with affordable repairs including painting, landscaping and accessibility improvements. We support homeowners wishing to stay in their own homes. The Chalfont and Langhorne ReStores provide sustainable funding for our mission, while giving the public a wonderful resource for items for their homes. The generous donation of new and gently used furniture, appliances, housewares and building materials is also a great way to recycle, keeping useful items out of our landfills.

The Montgomery County Humane Society is the pre-eminent animal welfare organization in Montgomery County, helping animals find safety, love, quality care, loving homes, and a new chance at a happy life. In April, 2014 MCHS became fully independent and 100% privately funded. We take cats and dogs out of overcrowded public shelters and give them the tender loving care, socialization, enrichment, and new homes they so desperately need and deserve. Our highly successful adoption program has enabled us to save nearly 500 animals in our first year of private operation! As a private, no-kill rescue we offer a range of services designed to help people adopt new pets and then keep them in their homes and out of shelters. We provide adoption and post-adoption assistance, humane education for all ages, and outreach programs that help pet owners take better care of their pets and build a more humane, animal-friendly community.

The Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia offers more than 150 social and emotional cancer support programs each month across our seven regional locations. We serve men, women, and children who are living with their own cancer diagnosis, are living with a loved one's diagnosis, have lost a loved one to cancer, or are cancer survivors. All our programs are offered free of charge to both children and adults affected by any type of cancer. So that no one faces cancer alone.
