Community Integrated Services’ mission is to empower people with disabilities through individualized employment opportunities that foster self-sustainability, equality, and community. Through partnerships with area businesses and organizations, CIS works to find jobs that fulfill the employment goals and desires for the people they serve. We believe that all people have the right and responsibility to be an active part of their community, regardless of their disability, and Community Integrated Services helps people with disabilities achieve their employment goals. We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. We have an innovative, creative staff that comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use our talent and expertise to help find jobs that are a great match for each individual's skills and interests.

Phoebe Ministries is a non-profit, multi-facility organization specializing in healthcare, housing, and support services for seniors. Founded in 1903 and affiliated with the United Church of Christ, Phoebe Ministries offers a full continuum of care to suit the diverse needs of senior adults. Located in seven Pennsylvania counties and serving thousands of seniors annually, Phoebe features four continuing care retirement communities, eight affordable housing facilities, and two pharmacies. Gemma Services was formed in November 2019 by the merger of two longstanding nonprofits, Silver Springs – Martin Luther School and theVillage. Representing more than 300 years combined of providing vital services to individuals in the Philadelphia region. Today Gemma is guided by the vision of a world where every person knows they matter. Gemma accompanies people of all ages through life’s challenges using individualized, data-informed support. With three locations in the Greater Philadelphia region, Gemma provides community-based and residential mental health programs, foster family care, adoption and permanency services, special education through an Approved Private School for K-12 students (Martin Luther School), and prevention programs. More than 3,000 individuals and families participate in Gemma’s programs each year.

Valley Youth House is the catalyst for youth to achieve their desired future through genuine relationships that support families, ensure safe places, and build community connections. We began in 1973 as a single shelter in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Valley Youth House was open day and night, ensuring that vulnerable, abused and homeless young people in the community had access to shelter and counseling. Even then, we represented more than just a roof and beds; we were an organization committed to building a solid foundation for every individual who came through our doors. That same dedication still drives us today, as we have grown from that first house in the Valley to over 250 residential sites throughout Pennsylvania. Though our reach and programming has vastly expanded, our mission remains the same. We educate, empower and strengthen the lives of children, youth and families, and build skills that foster growth and independence. For over forty-five years, we have been proud to be there for two generations. We stand ready to be there for the next generation as well. Our doors remain open – we just have more of them now.

CONCERN, founded in 1978, is a dynamic private non-profit 501(c)(3) human services organization dedicated to providing prevention, placement and treatment services to children and their families.

ACE was created by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 as part of a national network of federally funded Community Action Agencies (CAA’s) to administer various programs on the community level that assist people of low-income out-of-poverty conditions. Incorporated in 1965, ACE began with a budget of $430,000 as a grantee for the federal Head Start Program maintaining fiscal and administrative responsibility for services in Lackawanna, Pike, Susquehanna, and Wayne Counties. ACE is a Community Action Agency authorized to administer funds received from federal, state, local, or private funding entities to assess, design, operate, finance, and oversee anti-poverty programs. ACE is intended to promote self-sufficiency and depends heavily on volunteer work, especially from the low-income community. ACE's mission statement is to empower people with the skills needed to become self-sufficient and enhance their lives through education, training, life skills, and support services. Over the past 50 years, ACE has developed a broad range of additional programs and services that promote school readiness for children and families and helps families struggling with the effects of poverty. These programs range from employment, education, income management, transportation, workforce initiatives, veterans support services, weatherization, crisis and emergency food assistance, to parenting support, childcare, and early learning programs. InFaith enables called and committed followers of Christ to serve with purpose and passion within our nation’s borders. Our ministries exist to introduce people to Jesus and help them get to know Him better. Our methods vary according to the needs of the people we serve. Our field staff serves in children's ministry, pastorates, camps, church planting, urban ministries, youth ministry, intercultural ministry, prison ministry, chaplaincies, nursing home ministry, and other specialized ministries, as God has called each one. Over the years, our mission has been known as First Day Society, Sunday and Adult School Union, American Sunday School Union, and American Missionary Fellowship. Today, we call ourselves "InFaith"​ because everything we do is rooted in our faith in Jesus Christ. The NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne. NEPA Alliance services include Business Financing, Government Contracting Assistance, International Trade Assistance, Non Profit Assistance, Transportation Planning, Research and Information, and Local Government Services.
