United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers & Allied Workers

Direction Home of Eastern Ohio is a private, non-profit organization that helps older adults and people with disabilities maintain their health, happiness and independence in the place they want to call ‘home.’ We provide services to those in Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. We offer long-term services and support to Medicaid recipients and qualifying individuals of all ages.

Perseus House provides a variety of residential, educational programs and resources for school-aged youth in the Erie community and across Pennsylvania. Our highly qualified staff work to effectively intervene in the lives of seriously troubled adolescents, to assist them in avoiding future contact with the juvenile justice and child welfare systems and to help them toward successful adulthood using our evidence based practices. The Perseus House Residential Treatment Programs use individualized behavioral health therapies for juvenile justice, child-welfare, and/or mental health system residents. Perseus House has an excellent reputation for treating adolescents from various backgrounds with 83 percent successfully completing their treatment. We provide treatment with our seven residential units for children across the state of Pennsylvania. We also have a Shelter Program in Erie County for court ordered male and female adolescents. Perseus House Community Based professionals provide a variety of educational programs and resources for school-aged youth, both in the school setting and in the Erie community. Our Community Based program goals are to help adolescents get back on track and to avoid residential placement.

United Way of Greater Cleveland is mobilizing and empowering Greater Cleveland residents to help break the cycle of poverty. We seek out our community’s most critical problems and work to solve them by connecting people, dollars, and services.

The United Labor Agency is a non-profit, 501(C)3 based in Cleveland, Ohio and is in its 48th year of operation. The ULA has been the One-Stop Operator and Title I Contractor for OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County, Workforce Development Board Area 3, since July 1, 2010. The United Labor Agency also provides staff support in Cuyahoga County for the Opportunity Corridor Project and the Youth Services Department through a grant with the State of Ohio called Wage Pathway. Currently, we provide contracted staff to OhioMeansJobs|Lake County in Painesville, Ohio to perform WIOA Staffing Services and implement the principles of our demand-driven approach. Additionally, ULA holds the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker Career Services contract with OhioMeansJobs|Summit County in Akron, Ohio, where we also implemented the WagePathway youth program. Most recently, ULA was awarded the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker Career Services contract in Medina County. The ULA has a history of serving diverse populations while demonstrating the ability to meet the unique needs of individuals served. Through our initiatives, WIOA and other workforce development contracts, ULA aims to provide services to help individuals achieve the satisfaction of their basic human needs, and to provide opportunities, programs and employment to reach their full human potential. Our mission is to attack the causes of poverty and improve quality of life for individuals and families. Founded in 1908, Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging is a Cleveland-based nonprofit whose mission is to support caregivers and empower all people to age well through research, consumer-responsive services and client advocacy.
