Council on Aging (COA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life for older adults, people with disabilities and their families. COA promotes choice, independence, dignity and well-being through a range of services that help people remain independent for as long as possible. Since 1974, COA has served as the state-designated Area Agency on Aging for Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties. One call to COA links people to the wide variety of agencies, information and programs that serve older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. Our Mission: To enhance lives by assisting people to remain independent through a range of quality services.

At Lighthouse, the light is always on, and the door is always open for any young person looking for help. And that’s only the beginning. Once inside, they receive the personalized care and unconditional support they need to thrive. At Lighthouse, a wide range of services is available so the young person can connect with what they need in one place. Approximately 400 young people sleep safely under a Lighthouse roof each night. And each one has the entire Lighthouse team on their side, providing access to therapy, case management, life skills training, and much more. CLS is a private, not-for-profit organization promoting inclusion, full citizenship and a self-determined life for people with developmental disabilities. CLS, Inc. provides supports and services to over 2,700 adults and children in Wayne County. CLS also has an office in Oakland County and one in Louisville, Kentucky.

Stairways Behavioral Health is finding creative ways to support recovery and wellness for persons who are engaged in our program and services. By employing best practices, bringing forward promising methods, and searching for innovation, Stairways seeks to offer the best care for persons with mental health care needs. A private nonprofit organization, Stairways assists persons with mental health care needs at any stage of life in their recovery by providing comprehensive rehabilitation, treatment and supports for living, working, learning and participating fully in community. Stairways is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is a five- time recipient of the of Best Places to Work in PA award , employing over 350 staff and contributing significantly to the economic stability of our community. Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) is a private non-profit corporation, organized and designated by the State of Ohio to be the planning, coordinating and administrative agency for federal and state aging programs in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina Counties. It is one of twelve Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in the state organized together with local service provider organizations and the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) to form the state's public aging services network. The network works together to develop systems of long-term services and supports (LTSS); and to create opportunities for older Ohioan's to receive them and to age successfully in their own homes and communities. The Agency is also involved in a number of special projects created in response to identified needs and opportunities. Those projects include helping LTC consumers better transition between care settings and empowering them to assume more responsibility for their health and wellness through prevention and disease self-management; and working with the VA to assist veterans with dementia. Serving over 4,000 children and their families annually, we provide high-quality programs and support services that focus on early childhood education and development, behavioral health wellness, and empowered parents.
