VEKA is a global leader in PVC/vinyl extrusion for the window and door, fence, deck and railing industries. Since 1983, VEKA has been helping fabricators deploy technologically advanced materials for residential and commercial building applications. Founded in 1967 as Vekaplast, VEKA began producing roller shutters out of a fifteen thousand square foot rented facility. Two years later, one of the original employees, Heinrich Laumann purchased the company and began designing window systems, the first of which were unveiled in 1971. Six years later, VEKA was able to build a revolutionary manufacturing site which was hailed as a technological marvel in its time. Today, in addition to this first facility, ten other sister facilities operate in eight countries on three continents. VEKA's U.S. operations also had modest beginnings in 1983. The company quickly outgrew its rented facility, as the demand for its high-quality vinyl products grew rapidly. In 1987, VEKA constructed the industry's first highly automated computer-controlled compounding and extrusion complex dedicated solely to the window and door market. By 1994, that facility had undergone two expansions and seen the addition of a two-story office building., bringing its floorspace total to 465,000 square feet. Kittanning, Pennsylvania
All Size Average employees
Our History In 1941, C.H. & E.A. Snyder Excavating began as a small construction company between Charles H. Snyder, Sr. and his younger brother Elmer A. Snyder. Over the next several years, the Snyder brothers continued to pursue civil construction projects in west central Pennsylvania, utilizing their first piece of equipment, a P&H 150 shovel. During World War II the funding for infrastructure construction projects was greatly diminished. With the possibility of having an idle fleet of equipment, Chuck Sr. and Elmer recognized that the WWII effort was gaining momentum, and their endeavors turned toward surface coal mining. In 1948, the Snyder brothers expanded their operations by acquiring the Glacial Sand & Gravel Company in Kittanning, PA. The year 1953 marked the formation of Allegheny Mineral Corp. and the opening of the company’s first limestone quarry. Over the next several decades, the company added limestone quarries in Harrisville and Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. In 1975, the Snyder family reorganized and created a parent company, Snyder Associated Companies, Inc. The holding company currently has multi-generational management ranging from the second generation through the fourth generation.

Atmosphere is the world's leading streaming TV service for businesses, offering original, audio-optional TV channels. There is a channel for every business and mood. Atmosphere's TV channels fill the void for businesses in a world dominated by linear cable TV suited for at-home viewing. No cable carrier has addressed the need for TV programming that doesn't require audio or the love of sports to be enjoyed. Atmosphere's founders recognized that TV for business was broken and they set out to fix it. Closed-captioned talking heads, news and reality TV on mute is no way to watch TV in businesses. So Atmosphere set off to conquer an entirely new class of TV programming: audio-optional streaming TV. Businesses can now run their own marketing promotions both within their venues and outside of them by utilizing Atmosphere Ads, and keep the content fresh with custom playlists! Atmosphere was incubated under Chive Media Group and spun out in 2019.
