The mission of the UVM Foundation is to secure and manage private support for the benefit of the University of Vermont. Our Vision is to foster relationships with alumni and donors that maximize their personal and philanthropic investment in the University, toward the realization of the University's aspiration to remain among the nation's premier small research institutions.

The Stern Center for Language and Learning is a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to life-changing learning for all. For nearly 40 years, we have been committed to helping individuals identify their learning strengths as well as their needs and to finding solutions that allow everyone to learn. We support learners of all ages—including those with learning disabilities, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and learning style differences—and transform lives through learning evaluations, customized instruction, and specialized courses and programs for teachers and schools. Woven through these services is a longstanding dedication to equity through learning.

Since 1991, ReSOURCE has been empowering individuals and strengthening Vermont communities through Workforce Development, Poverty Relief, and Environmental Stewardship. Growing rapidly in the last decade and currently training over 300 people on average each year, ReSOURCE is matching Vermont’s urgent need for skilled workers with the training and support local employers need. We excel at adapting to community needs, and as Vermont’s un-and-under employed population has shifted to include more new Americans and Vermonters with disabilities, ReSOURCE has continued to evolve its job skills training to help more Vermonters prepare for and enter the workforce.
