Our services include: • Behavioral Health Services which encompasses outpatient psychiatric and counseling services offered at three Lehigh Valley locations • Foster Care/Kinship Care/Placement Services • Adoption Services, Pinebrook is an affiliate of the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) • Other Community-Based Services such as: Making the Grade, a truancy-reduction, family-support program; Transportation and Family Visitation Program, a service that connects children in out-of-home placement with their biological/legal families; Shape, a family preservation program that utilizes case management; Compeer, a program that matches volunteer mentors with adults who live with a chronic, long-term mental illness; HOMECARE, a service that assists Seniors with the daily chores of living so that they are able to age in place longer; and Warmline, an anonymous phone service that provides callers a friend to talk to. • Forensic Services which include a Transitional Residence for homeless women and their children; ALPHA program, provides teens on probation with academic, behavioral, and job readiness services; and parenting classes for prisoners, support groups, and supervised visits. Last year, Pinebrook Family Answers assisted 4,909 children, young adults, families, and seniors. The agency’s community-based services specifically focus on assisting low-income families of diverse backgrounds, primarily residing in inner-city Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton and the Slate Belt area of Northampton County. All programs rely heavily on private support.
