The purpose of the organization was to simultaneously address Delaware’s unemployment and dropout rates. Together, the public and private sector leaders of the state developed the model of Jobs for Delaware Graduates. Since then, JDG has become an approved Department of Education Career Pathway, serving an average of 3,500 students each year in 10 middle schools and 23 high schools throughout Delaware. Our certified Teachers implement a comprehensive curriculum, paired with experiential learning and community service opportunities that foster growth for each student, and prepares them for post-secondary education, advanced training, and/or employment.
