Olympia Fencing Center was founded in 2012, and is privately owned by Daniel and Iulia Hondor. Our main objective is to promote and grow the Olympic sport of fencing, a sport for everyone, across ages and body types. We actively encourage and support all levels of fencing, from beginner/recreational to highly competitive, collegiate, and Olympic fencing. Holder of some of the best results in the country, and prime feeder to the NCAA and Ivy leagues, Olympia is also a proud promoter of gender diversity, equity, and inclusion. He’s proud to belong to one of the most successful Romanian fencing generations, who produced numerous well-known coaches worldwide, and currently training and producing numerous world and Olympic champions.
