Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization serving adults in the Southern Nevada community with intellectual and related disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village is dedicated to helping people become the very best they can be. Through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, citizens with severe disabilities are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration and unleash creative passions. Opportunity Village was founded in 1954 by a small group of local families who sought to improve the lives of their children with intellectual disabilities. Since then, Opportunity Village has grown to become Nevada’s largest private, not-for-profit community rehabilitation program, serving nearly 2,000 people annually through vocational training, community job placement, art and life skill enrichment, advocacy, and social recreation programs. More than just a charity, Opportunity Village operates four employment training center campuses and a thrift store in Southern Nevada. Almost entirely self-funded, Opportunity Village is possible because southern Nevadans realize the value in supporting their neighbors with intellectual disabilities. Owens Valley Career Development Center is a dedicated American Indian organization operating under a consortium of Sovereign Nations. Owens Valley Career Development Center started in 1976 as a small business focused on providing more career opportunities for Native Americans. As the company began to grow and branch into other areas, the number of Sovereign Nations within its consortium also began to grow. Nowadays, OVCDC is a multifaceted business reaching into all aspects of social services and educational services, as well as economic development markets, providing Native American communities with a mechanism for bettering quality of life. Whether through its strong support for cultural activities and traditional practices or through its efforts to bring modern technologies and choices to Indian Country, OVCDC is dedicated to its partnership with member communities and Indian Country as a whole.

Community Health Alliance is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Northern Nevada, serving over 30,000 patients across six convenient locations in Reno and Sparks. In addition, we operate three mobile medical and dental units to extend our outreach even further. We offer comprehensive primary care and a wide range of wraparound services, including behavioral health, dental care, low-cost pharmacies, nutritious food pantries, and more.

Three Square is Southern Nevada's only food bank and largest hunger relief organization. Established in 2007 to provide hunger relief, Three Square offers wholesome, nutritious food to non-profit and faith based organizations, schools and feeding sites that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans in need. A national model project, inspired by Eric Hilton with a grant provided by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Three Square is a community collaborative partnership with businesses, non-profit agencies, food distributors, higher education institutions, the Clark County School District, governmental entities, the media and thousands of volunteers to efficiently and effectively serve hope to those in our community struggling with hunger. Three Square is a member of the Feeding America network of food banks.

Serving Clark County since 1977, SafeNest is Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive charity devoted solely to domestic violence issues. SafeNest’s programs are concentrated in four areas of service: advocacy, counseling, prevention and shelter. Our shelter homes are maintained in undisclosed locations for the safety of abuse victims and their children, and all services are provided with confidentiality as a high priority. Our goal is to assist families from crisis to healing, while empowering victims toward self-sufficiency in violence-free lives. Safe Nest provides services for victims toward self-sufficiency in violence-free lives. To break the pattern of domestic violence, SafeNest provides services for victims, batters and their children. Prevention programs focus on children, teens, and young adults.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHS) is a non-profit agency that provides affordable housing, homeownership opportunities, education and neighborhood revitalization in targeted areas throughout Southern Nevada. Since 1992, NHS has revitalized neighborhoods by providing low to moderate income families and individuals with access to affordable rentals, homebuyer education classes and mortgage assistance to purchase homes. Through these programs NHS has turned hopes for the "American Dream" into American Realities! With a vision to build better neighborhoods, block by block, NHS is well on its way, having assisted over 5,200 Southern Nevada households through its programs!
