Our Mission: Arc of Greater New Orleans (ArcGNO) works to secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) opportunities to develop, function, and live to their fullest potential. Our Purpose: To create, through education, advocacy, and support, a greater New Orleans community that includes, accepts, and celebrates IDD people. Our Services: The ArcGNO Family Service Coordination staff works with families of infants (0-3 years) to assess needs and identify effective therapies and treatments. The Community Integration and Employment Services' staff helps IDD adults 18+ explore their options for the future after high school. With job coaching and placement, including our Mardi Gras Recycling Center and community center day programs. Our direct service providers in the Residential Support Services program assist with a variety of tasks in the home and around the community.
