THE AVE MARIA FOUNDATION is a higher education company based out of ONE AVE MARIA DRIVE, ANN ARBOR, Michigan, United States.

Volunteer position in my local lodge consisting of scheduling meetings, submitting quarterly audits, submitting annual audits, and keeping the local lodge in compliance with all federal regulations.

The Ohio Department of Aging works to ensure that our elders are respected as vital members of society who continue to grow, thrive and contribute. We collaborate with state agencies and community partners, including area agencies on aging, to help integrate aging needs into local plans and ensure that aging Ohioans have access to a wide array of high-quality services and supports that are person-centered in policy and practice. Since 1955, the NKF of Michigan, Inc. (NKFM) has led the fight against life-threatening chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. We have enhanced the lives of many Michigan residents through our prevention programs and patient services. Our efforts have also changed legislation, ensured quality care for patients and advanced medical knowledge. We have informed the public about kidney and urological diseases and increased awareness of the critical need for organ and tissue donations. The mission of the NKFM is prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it.

Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” and distributed 40 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 200 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area.
