The substance abuse program seeks to promote a reduction in substance abuse and associated delinquent behavior. The program model will utilize education and group counseling to encourage youth to refrain from substance use. Sports Programs - HYPE Athletics will involve participants in a variety of athletic training camps, tournaments, and leagues to promote and educate youth to work in unity, develop a teamwork mentality, to encourage positive competition, and increase their physical fitness. Young Professionals in Training - YPIT will prepare youth in various areas of employability skills, entrepreneurship, business management and ownership, job readiness, financial literacy, college / vocational exposure and enrollment support, and job placement with local employers. Tutoring - Youth will receive assistance in homework studies. Prepare youth for testing, and provide an opportunity to excel in classroom achievements.
