In 1923, Henry Ford instructed his general secretary to "lay out a good, practical golf club that anybody could use."​ With those thirteen words, the Dearborn Country Club in historic Dearborn, Michigan was born. HYPE Athletics is committed to strengthening individuals, families, and the community in Wayne County by providing quality counseling, education, advocacy, and referral services from a family perspective. HYPE Athletics believes that families are the foundation of our society and works for their preservation and support. Changing Youth with Life Skills - This early intervention / diversion program is designed to instill a sense of hope and convey the belief that change is possible while empowering youth to organize themselves to achieve their goals. Group Mentoring - HYPE Athletics will provide weekly community-based mentoring services to program youth. Substance Abuse Education – HYPE Athletics will offer a substance abuse prevention and education program for youth ages 7-18 and their parents / caregivers. The substance abuse program seeks to promote a reduction in substance abuse and associated delinquent behavior. The program model will utilize education and group counseling to encourage youth to refrain from substance use. Sports Programs - HYPE Athletics will involve participants in a variety of athletic training camps, tournaments, and leagues to promote and educate youth to work in unity, develop a teamwork mentality, to encourage positive competition, and increase their physical fitness. Young Professionals in Training - YPIT will prepare youth in various areas of employability skills, entrepreneurship, business management and ownership, job readiness, financial literacy, college / vocational exposure and enrollment support, and job placement with local employers. Tutoring - Youth will receive assistance in homework studies. Prepare youth for testing, and provide an opportunity to excel in classroom achievements.

About Forest View Lanes: Forest View Lanes is a recreation and entertainment center with bowling, indoor golf and sand volleyball; with a full-service bar and restaurant (fresh food and made from scratch kitchen). We also have an outdoor bar and two patios. Forest View Recreation and Entertainment center runs year-round for bowling, indoor golf, sand volleyball, parties and corporate events. The bar and grill serves an updated menu, soft drinks, 48 craft beers on draught, great bottle/can beer selection, great spirits and wine options too.
