The Division of Information Technology (IT) is the chief provider of technology infrastructure, services and applications at the George Washington University (GW). The Division of IT partners with stakeholders across GW to equip students, staff and faculty with the technology know-how and tools necessary to achieve academic excellence. GW's Division of IT works with students, faculty, staff and departments across the university to provide advanced technology solutions. From Internet and phone connections in offices and residence halls to software that supports admissions, online registration and other aspects of day-to-day business, the Division of IT keeps GW connected.

The nonprofit Urban Institute is dedicated to elevating the debate on social and economic policy. For nearly five decades, Urban scholars have conducted research and offered evidence-based solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities across a rapidly urbanizing world. Their objective research helps expand opportunities for all, reduce hardship among the most vulnerable, and strengthen the effectiveness of the public sector.

SURA’s mission is to advance collaborative research and education and to strengthen the scientific capabilities of its members and our nation. SURA is a consortium of over 60 research institutions, primarily in the Southeastern U.S., established in 1980 to design, build and operate what is now Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility – a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory. We now operate the lab through Jefferson Science Associates (JSA) – a joint venture with Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE). SURA also facilitates collaboration with government agencies and researchers to advance information technology, to foster better understanding of coastal and environmental phenomena, and to promote scientific discoveries that impact our lives.

The American Physical Society (APS Physics) is a non-profit membership organization working to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics through its outstanding research journals, scientific meetings, and education, outreach, advocacy and international activities. Established in 1908 by the Maryland General Assembly, Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit company that provides evolving employment and training opportunities for blind and visually impaired people of all ages. The Rehabilitation and Training Division offers innovative programs that teach real-world skills, build self confidence, and prepare blind people for the everyday challenges of family, school, and work. Programs and services are free of charge for Maryland citizens. BISM’s specialized training programs include: * The CORE Program - A comprehensive, eight-month residential program that supplies blind adults with the skills to be self-sufficient and regain control of their lives. Classes include Braille, Cane Travel, Independent Living, Computer Technology, and Adjustment to Blindness Seminars. * The SAIL Program - Provides instruction, guidance, and support needed for blind and visually impaired seniors to remain independent and active. Classes are similar to the CORE Program, with an emphasis on peer support and group activities. SAIL is available at our Baltimore, Cumberland, and Salisbury locations. * Work to Independence and Independence 101 - Summer residential programs for blind middle and high school students that provide participants with the nonvisual skills, confidence, and work experience to successfully transition into high school, college and/or employment. BISM employs over 600 associates, the majority of whom are blind or low vision, at 14 facilities in Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Our manufacturing operations are located in Baltimore, Cumberland, Salisbury, and Raleigh (NC). BISM is a diverse manufacturing company that produces over 150 products, including military uniforms, cleaning supplies, paper pads, and custom bottled water. BISM owns and operates AbilityOne Base Supply Centers on federal installations.
