United Safety Net is an organization that is dedicated to promoting safety among the construction workers – particularly targeting Latino and Brazilian workers who have suffered high rates of injuries andfatalities. The organization was founded and is led by Rony Peterson Jabour who was worked in construction for over 10 years and has been a leader in promoting safety among immigrant workers. Mr. Jabour is an authorized OSHA 10 & 30 outreach construction trainer, and received intensive instruction from OSHA's senior trainer, Carol Bates. Mr. Jabour developed a pilot program with the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MASSCOSH) & Brazilian Immigrant Center to provide OSHA 10 outreach training to Brazilian & Spanish workers.
