Review all disciplinary procedures, terminations, and other employee issues and be sure that they were conducted legally, ethically, and consistently with company policy.
Facilitate new hire onboarding
Work with department heads to assist with orientation.
Manage and review all recruitment and staffing processes, posting job openings, and reviewing applications prior to distributing them to a hiring manager.
Work with Finance Department and Paychex to review and implement benefit changes, terminations, and setting up new hires.
Conducts training on HR policy updates and translations to other departments.
Assist QA Manager with safety training administration, planning training schedules, and monitoring compliance.
Process weekly payroll functions by providing data for worker’s compensation, FMLA, parental leaves, and disability.
Coordinating all leaves according to state and federal laws in MA and CA
Prepare and publish a monthly newsletter for significant changes in HR policy and organization
Coordinate with Paychex for training and new labor laws that affect both MA and CA locations.
Maintain performance evaluations for employees and coordinate with a supervisor.
Develop a framework for top talent acquisition and performance management
Responds to and tracks unemployment claims, disability claims, workman’s compensation, FMLA, parental leaves, and other leaves of absence.
Collaborates with management to guarantee a safe and secure working environment and coordinates annually with the safety committee.
Coordinate all team-building activities and events
Support benefits administration by communicating yearly changes and responding to employee inquiries.
Maintain Covid-19 files.
