The Pelican Institute for Public Policy is a non-profit research and education institution that conducts scholarly research and analysis of Louisiana public policy. The Institute's mission is to advance sound policies based on the principles of free enterprise, individual liberty, and limited government. Institute staff pursues this mission by conducting timely research on important issues and then marketing the findings to elected leaders, the media, business leaders, community organizations, and individual citizens.

Career Compass is Louisiana's nonprofit authority on college and career access. Our mission is to remove the obstacles that keep students from pursuing a post-secondary education. Our goal is to increase the number of students in Louisiana who attend a post-secondary institution upon high school graduation (technical, community and four-year universities). Career Compass was founded on the belief that all students can go to college, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. To us, "college"​ means a two- or four-year degree, or an advanced credential. Founded in 2006 by two former teachers, Career Compass has grown exponentially from our humble beginnings. Starting with 98 students in two schools, we have flourished to annually impact 36,000 students statewide in 30+ school districts. Community by community, we’re partnering with districts to increase post-secondary enrollments. And it's working! Year after year, 98-99% of our students apply to a post-secondary option that they can successfully complete. The mission of the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools (LAPCS) is to improve education in Louisiana by supporting, promoting, and advocating for excellent public charter schools. LAPCS is the only statewide entity dedicated to advocating for charter schools at both the state and local levels, providing information to legislators, district officials, and policymakers about the issues that are important to charter schools and organizing the charter school community to support policies that provide charter schools the autonomy and flexibility necessary to successfully educate the children of Louisiana. Founded in 2002, LAPCS is a leader in the state’s extensive effort to improve public school quality. Upon its conception, LAPCS was initially run on a volunteer basis with no formal membership structure or funding. As the charter movement grew, funding was secured to hire its first Executive Director, Caroline Roemer Shirley, in the fall of 2007. Since then, LAPCS has increased membership to more than 90% of all public charter schools in the state.

The Louisiana Resource Center for Educators was founded by building a community pertnership with the Louisiana Department of Economic Development, the Baton Rouge ARea Foundation, LSU, EBR Parish Government and the Novartis U.S. Foundation. On April 28, 1998, LRCE opened, becoming the first and only shared resource center for PreK-12 teachers in Louisiana. LRCE has experienced remarkable growth over nearly 20 years. The library has grown from a collection of about 5000 titles in 1998 to over 110,000 titles today. LRCE extends beyond the library and includes LRCE Teach!, an alternitive certification program; Reach for Success, a summer enrichment program; and Find your Future, a workforce development program for high school sophomores.

Private School Village (PSV), a nationwide, parent-led nonprofit organization, cultivates and harnesses the power of community to positively transform the private school experience for Black families so that students fully thrive.​ PSV empowers parent engagement to instill student well-being, normalize inclusive and equitable communities, and encourage lasting systemic and institutional policy and process change that will impact a student's healthy development. We do this in partnership with families and schools by increasing racial literacy, socialization, representation, and related research.
