At The Guest House we base our program on delving into the underlying issues that create the coping mechanisms of addiction and the trauma reactivity that is seen in anxiety, relationship dysfunction and somatic issues. We believe that if you understand what came before, everything else can be stabilized and true progress can be made. We believe in a multidimensional and individualized approach to treatment. Each one of our guests has a different story and history that created the circumstances that brings them to treatment. As a result, each of our guests require an individualized plan for their care. We use many different therapeutic modalities and discovering which is most effective for each guest and utilizing those approaches to help our clientele grow and heal. Our model can best be described as an attachment model, our motto is "love them back to health"​. Working with the poverty task force created by Kennedy, President Johnson created the Office of Economic Opportunity to administer a wide variety of poverty prevention and alleviation programs created under the 1964 Economic Opportunity Act. Community Action Agencies were founded on the idea that local citizens were the most knowledgeable and best equipped to address problems of poverty in their communities. Community Action gave previously powerless people the means to work toward their own economic and social advancement. Community Action Agencies help people to help themselves in achieving self-sufficiency. Today, there are approximately 1,000 Community Action Agencies in the United States.

handsofmercyeverywhere.org is a non- profit christian home for teenage girls, teen mothers and their babies. Hands of Mercy Everywhere's goal is give teen mothers the skills to be succesful mothers, and women in our community. Handsofmercyeverywhere is located in Belleview, FL.

The mission of Peaceful Paths is to save lives and create change. Peaceful Paths is the certified domestic violence center that serves survivors of domestic violence in Alachua, Bradford, and Union counties in Florida. Peaceful Paths provides a wide range of services including emergency shelter, 24-hour helpline, victim advocacy, children’s programming, education and training, crisis counseling and support groups, community awareness and intervention, and violence prevention programs. Peaceful Paths is a member of the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV). Peaceful Paths currently has 42 employees that work together to further the mission of ending domestic violence. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of local community citizens who volunteer their time to help oversee the fiscal health, community support, and general well-being of the agency.
