For over 70 years, the Sarasota Orchestra has been entertaining music lovers from around the region, and visitors from around the world. The 80-member Orchestra performs more than 100 classical, pops and family concerts each year, and thrives as the oldest continuing orchestra in the state of Florida. In 2008 the organization unveiled a new name and logo with a package that offers new series, new concerts and a whole new way to experience live music, along with the timeless classics. An arts leader in the community, the Sarasota Orchestra has a dual mission dedicated to exquisite performance and first-class musical education. The Sarasota Orchestra's acclaimed music education program includes the 60-year-old Youth Orchestra, which features five ensembles – the most advanced of which, The Youth Philharmonic, made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2008. The Sarasota Orchestra also offers music lessons for students of all ages and abilities, sponsors multiple community outreach programs and is the parent program of the Sarasota Music Festival.

The Bowl is a college football game matching teams from the SEC and Big Ten/ACC Conferences. It is a culmination of a weeklong schedule of events throughout the Tampa Bay area. It has hosted games typically on New Year's Day for 37 years. Over it's history the bowl has generated a $1.1 Billion economic impact for the region plus millions each year in national and international exposure for the area. It has also distributed over $170 Million to universities. The bowls Charitable Giving Initiative was started in 2016 and has donated millions of dollars to more than 160 area charities.

Mission: To serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and to participate in community life. Vision: A community where disability is a distinction without a difference, where individuals will have choices on how they live, learn, work, worship, and play. The Arc Jacksonville has served our community’s citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1965. The organization began within a grassroots movement to provide educational opportunities for special needs persons who were not well-served by the public education system. Over the decades, The Arc program has evolved and expanded to offer a wide range of services today within community settings. Today The Arc has an annual operating budget of $7.6 million, serves approximately 400 individuals daily and provides employment for approximately 130 staff members as well as service opportunities for 24 AmeriCorps and 6 VISTA members. Services are rendered from three main locations and five group homes. In addition to the direct services provided through our programs, The Arc Jacksonville serves as a source of information and support for the entire Northeast Florida area through its advocacy program, called A.S.K. (Advocacy, Support and Knowledge).

The Florida Aquarium actively participates in and promotes stewardship of the natural environment as part of our mission of conservation. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, The Florida Aquarium provides an opportunity to see over 8,000 aquatic and terrestrial animals, explore complex ecosystems, look for wild dolphins in Tampa Bay, play at the Splash Pad and more! Our competent and dedicated board members and staff are committed to working in partnership with children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families in providing advocacy and comprehensive person centered services of the highest quality.
