•Assist the Vice President of human resources in monthly board meetings and preparing the board minutes for the board of directors.
•Manage time and attendance of each employee and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
•Maintain human resource records by recording new hires, termination, changes in job classifications, tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
•Routine maintenance of employee files, such as, creating, updating, filing, and retaining.
•New hire responsibilities, such as, new employee orientation, new hire paperwork, verifying 1-9 documentation, and photocopying social security and driver’s license.
•Update policies and policy manual on a monthly basis and ensure employees are aware of changes by updating the company’s internal website.
•Provide information about company benefits to all new and existing employees.
•Coordinate and plan quarterly community events and yearly annual meeting.
•Assist with day-to-day efficient operations of the human resources department
